Severe Hair Loss Evaluation
Initial Evaluation
1. Mineral & Vitamin Analysis
(Electro-acupuncture diagnostic device)
Detection of major deficiencies including zinc, iron, biotin, magnesium, iodine, and vitamin B/D complex.
Outcome: Targeted supplementation plan to reinforce scalp health and maximize remaining follicular potential.
2. High-Resolution Dermatoscopy
Detailed scalp assessment focusing on:
- Remaining follicular density (follicles per mm²)
- Extent of hair miniaturisation
- Inflammatory conditions, dandruff, or seborrhea
- Scalp vascularisation quality
Outcome: Clear evaluation of hair loss severity and precise planning of therapeutic options.
3. DOCTHAIR Microscopy (200×)
Microscopic analysis of hair fibres and bulbs, including porosity, cuticle integrity, keratin structure, shaft diameter, and follicular vitality.
Outcome: Identification of biological constraints and selection of the safest, most effective treatment approach.
Mandatory for patients classified within Norwood stages 1–7.
Treatment Protocols by Norwood Stage
Stage 1 – 2 – 3: Natural Regeneration (Non-Invasive)
Goal: Slow disease progression, preserve existing hair, and improve scalp condition.
- Red LED Therapy
- Medical Microneedling (Dermapen)
- Natural serums & stimulating oils
- Supplement protocols guided by mineral analysis
Expected Results: Reduced shedding, improved hair texture, and stabilization of remaining density.
Stage 3 – 4 – 5: Regeneration + Reconstruction
Goal: Re-establish visual density and recreate a natural hairline while respecting donor limitations.
In addition to all Stage 1–3 treatments, advanced solutions may include:
- Exosomes / PRP / PRF regenerative therapies
- Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) to enhance visual fullness
- DHI Hair Transplant (frontal area and/or crown, based on donor availability)
Expected Results: Balanced coverage, natural-looking density, and long-term aesthetic coherence.
